An advertisement managing method in a broadcasting apparatus (1) that performs broadcasts, comprises a data acquisition information reception step in which to receive, from a broadcast receiver terminal (2) that receives broadcasts, data acquisition information to the effect that the broadcast receiver terminal (2) has acquired data related to music from the broadcasting apparatus (1); an interest information storage step in which to store, as viewer interest information related to music, the data acquisition information received in the data acquisition information reception step; and a background music change step in which to change, based on the interest information, background music of an advertisement prior to broadcasting the advertisement; whereby the advertisement having a background music that agrees with the viewer's interest can be broadcasted.
