<p>According to the invention there is provided the use of a low molecular weight thrombin inhibitor, or a pharmaceutically acceptable derivative thereof, for the manufacture of a medicament for use in cholesterol-lowering therapy and/or modification of lipid (triglyceride), lipoprotein, and apolipoprotein, profiles associated with an increased risk of cardiovascular complications.</p> |
