The solarium has radiating/tanning ultraviolet LEDs (2) which are weaved with electrical conductors in a textile cloth, where the solarium is designed in the form of a blanket. Rechargeable battery and control electronics are provided for the operation of the blanket. A timer is provided for pre-programming the period of radiation. A control device controls the charging of the battery.
