The proposed method for determining volume of soil consists in determining, by geodetic measurements, positions of reference points at the controlled earth surface, dividing the controlled surface into triangular areas so that the vertices of the triangles are positioned at the reference points, determining the volume of soil at each area, and determining the volume of soil at the controlled surface as the sum of the volumes at the areas. The present invention provides a possibility to increase the measurement accuracy.
