The swivel arm of a ceiling mount has a hollow profile with a side opening (11) closed off by a cover, a top opening (9) in the upper side (5) for the mounting point, and a bottom assembly opening (4) in the underside . The assembly opening and side opening are formed in one piece. The bottom assembly opening has a left hand side edge (7) and a right hand side edge (8), whereby the two side edges are interconnected by a removable clip (12) provided in the side opening.
