A metal-thermal process for producing magnesium by heating charge which contains calcinated dolomite and ferrosilicium to the temperature less than 1200 DEGREE C at residual pressure less than 670 Pa with precipitation of magnesium vapor. To increasingly exclude magnesium, the charge of finely dispersed calcinated dolomite with an average grain size less than 0.1 mm and low-silicon ferrosilicium is loaded to the vacuum induction furnace with crucible of electroconductive material which is equipped inside the heating area with an additional electroconductive heater, and in the upper part it is cooled by the trap magnesium vapor, every loaded portion of charge is preliminary calcinated at the temperature close to 900 DEGREE C in the contact with an atmosphere, the furnace is closed and after vacuumization the charge is heated to the temperature of the metal-thermal process initiation, and the latter is performed with an admission of heat inside the loose mass.
|
