The unit has a mechanical key (5) which is inserted in a housing (4) in a detachable manner. The housing has a shape that is complimentary to that of the key. An elastic strip (6) is placed in the housing for blocking and ejecting the key. The strip has a compressible part (6A) assuring the ejection of the key and a clipping part (6B) disposed with respect to a head (5A) of the key.
