The method involves measuring reception amplitude of a module (B) for a forward signal, and comparing the measured amplitude with a predetermined threshold using a comparison unit (24B). Transmission amplitude of a module (A) is modified according to the comparison. The modification of the transmission amplitude is controlled by the module (B) which sends instructions to the module (A). An independent claim is also included for a module intended to exchange information by carrier currents with another module.
