The pump has a solenoid valve (15) provided for activating a ball of an exhaust valve, for opening and/or closing a passage (11). The solenoid valve is activated in an active manner with respect to the pressure existing in a piston chamber (8). The ball of the exhaust valve separates the piston chamber from a pressure chamber (9). The chamber (9) is connected to a pressure duct (14) by connection ducts. An independent claim is also included for a braking equipment or a stabilization system of a vehicle comprising a piston pump.
