摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine an actual torque value of an internal combustion engine, more particularly, a direct injection type internal combustion engine with very high accuracy and to thereby optimize an open loop control or a closed loop control of the internal combustion engine operation. SOLUTION: Torque formed by the internal combustion engine 22 is regulated by depending on trapped actual torque value Mist, target torque value Msoll and other operating amount. At the time, an operating state 13 of the internal combustion engine 22 is trapped and the actual torque value Mist is trapped by at least one pressure sensor 26 arranged within a combustion chamber. An ignition angle ZW and injection starting timing ESB are optimized so as to increase torque formed by the internal combustion engine 22 as much as possible within a range of at least one adaptive loop for the prescribed and fixed operating state 13 of the internal combustion engine 22. The optimized ignition angle ZW and the optimized injection starting timing ESB are made bases of succeeding operations of the internal combustion engine 22.</p>
