The method involves assembling two dry wooden pieces (1, 2) by a joint (3) symmetrically engaged on both sides of the pieces. The joint is introduced in recesses (4) present on outer wall of the pieces. A plug (7) is introduced in orifices (5) arranged at each end of the pieces. The pieces are pushed until they come in abutment at the base of orifices (6) placed at each end of the joint.
