The gangway has three sections (1-3) that are embedded with each other. The sections are articulated around an axis perpendicular to their plane. Each section has a parallelepiped frame or chassis provided with transversal rods. The transversal rods directly receive steps. The rods or steps are shifted in folded position so as not to increase thickness of the gangway and/or to permit folding of the gangway.
