PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric razor equipped with a main switch in push-button style, which simultaneously realizes both user-friendliness with the switch button and prevention of malfunction. SOLUTION: A main switch 15 in push-button style is arranged on a side face of a main body case 1. The main switch 15 includes a switch button 20, a strongly elastic first spring 21 which biases the switch button 20 to return, a weakly elastic second spring 22 and a switch unit 23 set in the main body case 1. An operation piece 28 for switching the switch unit 23 is formed at a side of the inner face of the switch button 20. A half side of the switch button 20 including the operation piece 28 is biased to return with the weakly elastic second spring 22, and the other half side is biased to return with the strongly elastic first spring 21. Then, operational resistance is made differently high/low between the time when the whole switch button 20 is pushed in and the time when a half side is pushed in, and both user-friendliness and prevention of malfunction are realized at a time.
