PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a picture tube device in which chipping of the projections of electron gun side end part provided in the ferrite core is prevented, and the deflection power is not degraded. SOLUTION: A plurality of projections 12, 13 protruded on the tube axis side of the cathode-ray tube are provided at the inner face of a ferrite core 10, and the projections 12, 13 are formed along the inner face of the ferrite core 10 toward the screen face side from the electron gun side. The plurality of projections 12, 13 are composed of a first projection 12 of which end part on the electron gun side is located on the screen face side than the end part 10a on the electron gun side of the ferrite core 10, and a second projection 13 of which end part on the electron gun side nearly corresponds to the end part 10a on the electron gun side of the ferrite core 10. The width W2 of the tip at the end part on the electron gun side of the second projection 13 is larger than that of the tip at the end part on the electron gun side of the first projection 12.
