FIELD: restoration of worn machine parts by electric resistance surfacing, possibly used at selecting technological modes of process. ^ SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of welding on additive wire to sample; measuring total axial deformation of additive wire and determining percentage axial deformation according to measured value; detecting length values of contact areas between sample and additive wire while taking into account actual values of upsetting of additive wire at side of sample and at side of roller; determining overlapping factor of welding areas according to relation of overlapping value of welding areas to length of those areas. ^ EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of determination of overlapping factor. ^ 4 dwg, 1 ex |
