<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle capable of making communications with a driver by making an anthropomorphic agent perform acts (action and voice) according to states. <P>SOLUTION: This agent apparatus displays an image of the anthropomorphic agent which performs the acts according to the states of the vehicle on an image display apparatus, and comprises: an image storage in which a plurality of images according to the action of the agent are stored; a display apparatus for displaying the images of the agent; a water temperature detection sensor for detecting the temperature of the cooling water of an engine as the status of the vehicle; a display controller for selecting the stored images of the agent and displaying to the display apparatus when the detected temperature is a prescribed threshold or below; and a counter for counting the number of the counting of the agent by the display controller as a learning value when the detected temperature is not larger than the prescribed threshold.
