PROTECTOR FOR WIRE HARNESS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the efficiency of lock coupling work by enabling lock coupling certainly by one hand without holding a body when the body of a protector for a wire harness is lock-coupled to a lid.

SOLUTION: A protector 10 includes a body 11 of a gutter shape and a lid 13 for closing an upper surface opening of the body 11 after the wire harness is passed through the body 11. The protector 10 lock couples the lid 13 to the body 11. A lock pawl 31 is projected from the lock piece 30 projected from the lid 13. A U-shaped lock frame 20 is projected from the side wall 11b of the body 11. A rib 23 is projected from the lower part of the outer surface of the central coupling part 22 of the lock frame 20. When the lock pawl 31 is inserted into the lock frame 20, the upper end face 31a of the lock pawl 31 is locked to the lower end face 22a of the central coupling part 22 and lock-fastened, the upper surface of the lid 13 at the projecting part of the lock piece 30 is pressed down and the lock pawl 31 is inserted into the lock frame 20 and locked while pressing up the rib 23 of the lock frame 20 of the body 11.
