PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide new down free from deterioration of strength, etc., in using, having persistent scenting effects and deodorization effects, and having antibacterial activity, mildew resistance, stainproof, etc., and to provide beddings such as a quilt, etc., filled with the down, and to provide clothes filled with the down. SOLUTION: The down obtained by using raw material down 1 as the base material 2 and adhering through spraying an inorganic compounded antibacterial agent 3 comprising apatite 4 and titanium dioxide photocatalyst 5 in a state mixed with a binder 6, and the adhesion is carried out just after drying process of the washed and dehydrated down, at 70-110°C, for 15-30 min with 0.1-0.2 wt.% of coating weight, and 0.5-1.0 wt.% of the inorganic compounded antibacterial agent 3 is contained in the binder 6.
