GAS SEPARATOR AND OXYGEN SEPARATOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oxygen separator constituted so as to efficiently separate gas (air) by enhancing the contact ratio of the gas (air) with a gas separation membrane (oxygen enriching membrane). SOLUTION: The oxygen separator is equipped with a passage having a gas introducing part and a gas lead-out part provided to both end parts, a suction means for evacuating the gas separation membrane (oxygen enriched membrane) arranged to the passage and a bypass passage which communicates with the passage through the respective openings on the upstream side and downstream side of the gas separation membrane (oxygen enriching membrane) and is provided with a fan for sucking the gas (air) in the passage from the downstream opening and blowing off the gas (air) to the passage from the upstream side opening. The fan is so operated that the air amount of the bypass passage is larger than that of the gas lead-out part and the surface wind velocity of the gas separation membrane is increased.
