PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a chemical impregnated body in which a chemical is simply impregnated into a used honeycomb body by a user and kept. SOLUTION: The chemical impregnated body is equipped with the honeycomb body 10 and a sheet body 20 that is arranged on one side of the honeycomb body 10 and has air permeability and liquid absorption properties, is obtained by impregnating the honeycomb body 10 with a chemical. When the chemical kept in the honeycomb body 10 is exhausted, a liquid chemical is supplied to the sheet body 20, permeated to the whole area and impregnated through the sheet body 20 into the honeycomb body 10 so that the chemical is simply impregnated into the used honeycomb body 10 by the user and kept.
