PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a reboot function-built-in splitter by which a modem is remotely restarted without manpower in suspending the function of the modem under a normal communication condition using an ADSL. SOLUTION: The reboot function-built-in splitter 1 comprises a low pass filter section 2, a no-ringing communication terminal 100, and a power relay 34. The no-ringing communication terminal 100 comprises a ringer detection and inversion detection circuit 32, a line relay 31, a transformer T for signal, a DTMF (Dual-Tone Multi-frequency) transmission and reception circuit 33, and a storage arithmetic unit 3 and has a non-ringing incoming function. The inversion and ringer detection circuit 32 detects inversion, determines non-ringing incoming when no ringer signal is detected, and sets the setting of the circuit relay 31 to ON. The storage arithmetic unit 3 receives, through the DTMF transmission and reception circuit 33, a signal from a center modem, and when a re-boot instruction is received, forms the contact of the power relay 34 to an OFF state from an ON state, and the ON state.
