PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gasket material used in manufacturing a gasket free from settling of a rubber layer under high temperature and high pressure and shrinkage of the rubber layer under low temperature, and capable of properly sealing a flange of coarse cast skin with pores. SOLUTION: This gasket material has the foamed rubber layer formed on both sides or one side of a steel plate, and is used in forming a gasket mounted on an engine of a vehicle.
