PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water pump enabling control of opening and closing of a valve or the like to suck , discharge or stop fluid by only mechanisms inside of the pump and making a structure extremely simple. SOLUTION: This pump consists of a pump housing A provided with a suction port part 2 and a delivery port part 3, an electric motor part B provided with a rotor 10, a rotating shaft 11 rotating together with the rotor 10 and including an external thread part 11a, a blade part 12, a poppet valve 13, a rotation regulating part 14 provided with a magnetic piece 14b, an impeller C provided with an internal thread part 5 threadedly engaging with the external thread part 11a. The impeller C rotates with rotation of the rotor 10 in a regular direction. When the rotor 10 reversely rotates, the impeller C gets in a standstill condition only in a rotation direction by magnetic force of the rotation regulating part 14 and the electric motor part B and the impeller C rises and the poppet valve 13 blocks the suction port part 2.
