PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a scenery of a road, while improving drainability of rainwater. SOLUTION: This side ditch device has a concrete side ditch body block 2 and a side ditch cover 3. The side ditch body block 2 constitutes a drain flow passage 14 inside, and forms an opening part 15 opening in the drain flow passage 14 in a substantially central area in the longitudinal direction of a ceiling part 11, and forms a first drain part 16 and a second drain part 17 in both side areas 11a and 11b for sandwiching the opening part 15 of the ceiling part 11. The side ditch cover 3 is combined by blocking up the opening part 15 of the side ditch body block 2, and forms drain parts 25 and 26 arranged on the same straight line as the first drain part 16 and the second drain part 17.
