A worm gear pair has a worm shaft (2) with a worm (1), a corresponding worm wheel (3) and a housing (4) which at least partially receives the worm shaft (2) and the worm wheel (3), the worm shaft (2) being mounted in the housing (4) by at least one bearing (5). The face clearance in the claimed worm gear pair can be easily adjusted in that the bearing (5) is designed as a fixed bearing and in that a bush (7) axially fixed by the bearing (5) extends between the inner ring of the bearing (5) and the worm shaft (2). In a first position of the bush (7), the worm shaft (2) frictionally and/or form-fittingly engages the bush (7), and in a second position of the bush (7), the worm shaft (2) is axially movable relative to the bush (7). |
