The display device (100) comprises: a first pixel (303) coupled to a first electrode (302), the first pixel (303) having a first light transmission as function of viewing angle for a first value of a first electrical input signal provided to the first electrode (302); and a second pixel (305) coupled to a second electrode (304), the second pixel (305) having a second light transmission as function of viewing angle for a second value of a second electrical input signal provided to the second electrode (304), the first light transmission as function of viewing angle and the second light transmission as function of viewing angle being mutually substantially different when the first value and the second value are mutually equal.
