A controllable turbocoupling (1) includes a pump impeller and a turbine wheel connected to the driven shaft of the air compressor that is to be operated. The pump impeller is driven by the driving shaft of the internal combustion engine, and drives the turbine wheel via a fluid in the form of working medium. An independent claim is also included for an operating method for coupling arrangement for connecting air compressor to driving shaft of internal combustion engine.
