<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal chip for a ball-point pen which unnecessitates removal of burrs to occur on forming a radial groove in the bottom wall of a ball house and enables a spring to be smoothly inserted into the ink guiding hole 2. <P>SOLUTION: In the metal chip for a ball-point pen which has an ink guide hole 2 opened at the center of the bottom wall 4 of the ball house 1 rotatably holding a ball 7, and a plurality of radial grooves 3 arranged centering around the ink guide hole, an annular projecting part 9, which is equal to or slightly longer than the radially projecting burrs 6 to be generated on forming the radial groove, is formed below the opening part 31 to the ink guiding hole of the radial groove. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
