<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a communication device which establishes communication with another communication device which meets different standards of the physical layer and MAC layer. <P>SOLUTION: The communication device is equipped with a modulation system rough estimation part 7 which estimates whether a modulation system performs digital nonlinear modulation or digital linear modulation from a received signal, a modulating speed rough estimation part 8 which estimates the modulating speed of the received signal, a symbol change point timing regeneration part 9 which detects a symbol change point based upon the modulating speed estimation value and a phase variation quantity based upon the received signal, a sampling rate conversion part 10 which converts the sampling rate of the received signal based upon the modulating speed estimation value and symbol change point, a modulation system estimation part 11 which estimates a modulation system in detail, a communication various-element database part 12 which retrieves a communication standard that the other communication device employs and transmits communication various elements, software, and hardware constitution information corresponding to the communication standard, and a block constitution altered object area 21 which performs reception processing and transmission processing meeting the communication standard. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
