<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine the statuses of network devices for the whole office, by aggregating and displaying the information of the network devices scattered over a network for the office to a single network device management apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: A system contains office equipment 4 and an office control device 1 as the network equipment connected to the network NW. The office control device 1 has a recording control module 12 for acquiring the device informations of each office equipment and an IP address and a MAC address; and an office-equipment information database 13, in which the acquired IP address, MAC address, and equipment informations are stored by a correspondence. The office control device 1 further has a display device 16, and a display generating module 15 for changing the informations stored in the office-equipment information database 13 into a data form, capable of displaying the informations on the display device 16, particularly a list form. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
