REINFORCING FIBER BASE MATERIAL, PREPREG, FIBER-REINFORCED PLASTIC AND MANUFACTURING METHOD OF FIBER-REINFORCED PLASTIC

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reinforcing fiber base material and a prepreg each capable of making compression strength after impact and compression strength after water absorption under an environment of high temperature compatible with each other, and to provide an easily manufactured fiber reinforced plastic and a method of manufacturing the fiber reinforced plastic.

SOLUTION: In the reinforcing fiber base material containing a component element [A] and a component element [B], the component element [B] is a reinforcing fiber base material having a bending modulus of 2.0 to 5.0 GPa at 23°C and containing a crystalline polyamide showing water absorption of less than 1.2% after underwater immersion at 23°C for 24 hours. The fiber-reinforced plastic can be made by using the reinforcing fiber base material. The reinforcing fiber [A] or [B] or/and a film are also provided.
