<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and method to support the soft tissue structure in the nasal cavity for facilitating air flow in the nasal passage of a horse. <P>SOLUTION: This nasal support device for supporting the outer surfaces of first and second outer vestibular walls of the nose of a horse is equipped with a support layer placed to structurally support the first and second outer vestibular walls and a combination layer to fix the device to the nose of a domestic animal. The device includes a first side piece 24 which is combined with the first outer vestibular wall and has a rostral end part, a caudal end part, and a first rostral-poll direction dimension, and a second side piece 25 combined with the second outer vestibular wall and has a rostral end part, a caudal end part, and a second rostral-poll direction dimension, and a midline region 26a including the crossing part of the first and second side pieces.
