PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a distributing apparatus of weather information capable of producing national weather forecast with a simple system structure and of producing local weather forecast at low costs. SOLUTION: A broadcast signal (c) is transmitted to an artificial satellite 1 from a broadcast transmitter 5, specified signal conversion is executed, and broadcast signals a1 to an are transmitted to all over Japan. Ground stations 6-1 to 6-n are installed for weather information. The ground stations receive the broadcast signals a1 to an transmitted by the artificial satellite 1 and transmits reception status signals b1 to bn based on size information of the reception level to the artificial satellite 1. The reception status signals change as a radio attenuation quantity fluctuates in accordance with presence of clouds, density of the clouds, presence of rain or snow, and the like. The reception status signals are returned to a weather forecast center 9 at a time, weather forecast information (e) which has been obtained by analysis at the weather forecast center 9 is transmitted to the artificial satellite 1, and weather forecast information (f) is transmitted to all over Japan from the artificial satellite 1.
