<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oxygen concentrator usable even when a patient is at home and/or going out (including the time of moving inside a car or the like). <P>SOLUTION: The oxygen concentrator comprises a compression means for compressing air taken in from an air intake, an absorbing means for absorbing prescribed components other than oxygen inside the compressed air inside an absorption cylinder and removing them from the compressed air, a product tank for storing concentrated oxygen from which the prescribed components are removed, and an open valve in a discharge flow path for discharging the absorbed components other than the oxygen. The compression means is structured such that a pressurizing function and an evacuating function are provided, and the vacuum degree of a pressure inside the flow path is adjusted by operating the open valve. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
