PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair growth formulation which contains minoxidil and has a high hair growth effect and an excellent application texture. SOLUTION: The hair growth formulation is one containing minoxidil, propylene glycol, and a volatile solvent, wherein the propylene glycol is contained in an amount larger than 5 times and smaller than 10 times (in terms of a mass ratio) that of the minoxidil.
