PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the recovery efficiency when a styrene-containing liquid is recovered by pyrolyzing a polystyrene solution and condensing the resultant pyrolysis gases. SOLUTION: The recovery system of the styrene-containing liquid is provided with a pyrolysis tank 7 equipped with a polystyrene solution-supplying part 9 and a pyrolysis gas-discharging part 8, a heat exchanger 10 arranged at the lower part inside the pyrolysis tank 7, a condenser 12 for condensing the pyrolysis gas flowing out from the discharging part 8 to form the styrene-containing liquid, and a combustion apparatus 11 for supplying a heated gas obtained by burning at least a part of the styrene-containing liquid to the heat exchanger 10 as a heat transfer medium.
