PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a modified device which can perform a drying process without a visible improper change in a printed product and supplies radiation energy to the object to be printed. SOLUTION: The device for supplying the radiation energy to the object to be printed 14 is equipped with at least one radiation energy source 10 and the light 12 emitted from the source 10 reaches the object 14 positioned on a path 16 of the object 14 passing through a printer in a position 116 arranged behind at least one printing gap 18 in a printing unit. The radiation energy source 10 emits the light 12 with a maximum/minimum uniformity (eine peak-to-valley-Homogenitat) of not more than about 15% sideways in the direction of the path 16 of the object 14.
