PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep boiled rice warm for many hours by suppressing evaporation of moisture from a steam outlet in the case of insulating heat after cooking rice in a rice cooker with a warming function. SOLUTION: A heat insulating inner lid for covering the boiled rice in a cooker to prevent evaporation of moisture in insulating heat after cooking rice in the rice cooker with the warming function, is constituted by combining two moisture shielding face materials or heat-resistant heat insulating face materials formed of heat-resistant glass, heat-resistant rubber, synthetic resin, or the like, forming the interior hollow or filling a heat insulating material, engaging the edges or fixing the engaged edges with a resilient material such as heat-resistant rubber or synthetic resin, or composed of an integral member of a moisture shielding face material or a heat-resistant heat insulating face material formed of heat-resistant glass, heat-resistant rubber or synthetic resin. Further, a heat insulating tap inserted in place of a steam port tap removed in insulating heat after cooking rice, is formed of heat-resistant synthetic resin with a moisture shielding face material such as moisture impermeable heat-resistant glass fitted therein. Although it is effective to jointly use the heat insulating inner lid and the heat insulating tap, each may be independently used. Substantially, the heat insulating inner lid is more effective.
