PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary electric shaver with an enlarged range of screen movement, and reduced weight and size for easy handling. SOLUTION: The rotary electric shaver has a screen holder (30) for holding the screens (24) so as to be freely moved, and a plurality of projections (50) for pressing the outer peripheral edges of the screens (24) through the screen holder (30). The rotary electric shaver further includes a cutter holder (42) for holding cutters (36) so as to be freely moved, one shaft (62) penetrating the cutter holder (42) and the screen holder (30) and having the end positioned at a cutter frame (20) between the adjacent screens (24), and a cutter-holding mechanism (60) penetrated with the shaft (62) and removably locked to the cutter frame (20) to resiliently press the cutter holder (42) in the direction of the screen.
