GRAPHITE BRUSH AND MOTOR HAVING SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a graphite brush which is hard to be worn irrespective of a using temperature and adapted a long lifetime, and also to provide a motor having the graphite brush. SOLUTION: The graphite brush 1 which supplies power to a coil 17 wound on a core 9 provided in the rotor 2 of the motor 10. The graphite brush 1 is made of a sintered material having pores in the surface and in the interior. The graphite brush 1 immerses liquid which contains a plurality of kinds of glycol ether having a boiling point higher than that of water in the pore and having different numbers of alkylene oxide structure units.
