PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk device capable of shortening the time of recording in an optical disk medium, an optical disk information recording method, and an optical disk medium. SOLUTION: The optical disk medium 6 is provided with a system area 22 for recording control management information and a data area 23 for recording user data. The data area 23 has a plurality of areas with borders (31, 31-1 to 3) divided by border areas (32, 32-1 to 3). The optical disk medium 6 is provided with a means for identifying a finalization area which is a last area to record the border area (32-3) recorded in an outermost periphery.
