PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a transmission light measuring liquid sample analyzing tool for eliminating a stray light due to a through-hole and surely stopping a liquid sample within a capillary. SOLUTION: The tool using a transmission light and optically analyzing a particular component in the liquid sample, has the capillary comprising a light transmission material and having a liquid sample inlet at an end, a reagent reaction region formed in the capillary, and a hydrophobic area formed adjacent to the opposite side of the liquid sample inlet side of the reagent reaction region in the center of the capillary.
