PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve durability in a power transmission chain having a plurality of link rows different in number of links. SOLUTION: A second row 52 includes 9 links 2. The first and third rows 51, 3 respectively include links 2 of a smaller number (e.g. eight) than that of the second row 52. In the respective first and third rows 51, 53, a pair of end links 2 in the width direction W of the chain are superposed on the links 2 of the same row to form a pair of links 20. Although among the respective links 2, one pair of end links 2 in the chain width direction W of the first and third rows 51, 53 receive the highest load in driving the chain, the durability can be remarkably improved because these links 2 are respective reinforced.
