PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust control device of a compact two-stroke engine with a simple structure. SOLUTION: This exhaust control device has a main exhaust passage 3 communicating via a main exhaust port 2 with the inside of a cylinder 1 having the axis in the vertical direction, a sub-exhaust passage 8 for connecting the inside of the cylinder 1 to the main exhaust passage 3, a sliding type main exhaust control member 5 for changing the exhaust timing by advancing and retreating to the upper edge of the main exhaust port 2, a sub-exhaust control member 10 for changing the passage area of the sub-exhaust passage 8, and driving members 7 and 10 for driving the main exhaust control member 5 and the sub-exhaust control member 10 by interlocking with an engine speed of an engine.
