PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compressor preventing discharge of lubricating oil inside a refrigerant discharge chamber from a pressure relief valve together with refrigerant gas and preventing increase in the size of the entire compressor. SOLUTION: A refrigerant flowing pipe 54 of which upper end is opened upwardly from a liquid level of the lubricating oil A is provided inside the refrigerant discharge chamber 13, and a lower end of the refrigerant flowing pipe 54 is connected with the pressure relief valve 50 to discharge the refrigerant gas inside the refrigerant discharge chamber 13 from the pressure relief valve 50 via the refrigerant flowing pipe 54. This structure prevents the lubricating oil A from being discharged from the pressure relief valve 50 together with the refrigerant gas, and eliminates wasteful consumption of the lubricating oil A during valve operation. In this case, since it is unnecessary to provide a pipe and flow passage for guiding the refrigerant gas on the outer face side of a compressor main body 10, increase in the size of the entire compressor is prevented.
