<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To select the ON/OFF of display and the direction of display on front and rear displays in opened and closed states of a cover body at a high degree of freedom in a notebook type information processor in which displays are formed on both faces of the cover body which is rotatably supported so as to open and close the operation surface of a device body. <P>SOLUTION: The ON/OFF of display and the direction of display of the front and rear displays in the opened and closed states of the cover body are previously set and the ON/OFF of display and the direction of display on the front and rear displays at the time of opening and closing the cover body are controlled in accordance with set contents. Consequently the direction of display data on the rear display in the opened state of the cover body at the time of observing the display from an operator coincides with the direction of display data of the front display in the closed state of the cover body in both vertical and horizontal directions, so that the usability of the front and rear displays can be improved when the operator uses the information processor by switching the opened state and closed state of the cover body. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
