<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mail-order system with a high system efficiency allowing a mail-order dealer to independently offset a new payment amount of a user by a refund expectation amount without requiring any labor from the user when the user already paid for a predetermined mail-order item cancels its purchase. <P>SOLUTION: A refund information table T is attached to a payment amount management means M in a user management server Ha connected to respective receipt user terminals P, P, etc. via a network. When the user who already paid the price for a predetermined mail-order item cancels its purchase, the refund expectation amount is stored in the table T, while a mail-order item newly desired for purchase by the user is received.
