<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact water heater, a highly reliable compressor, and a heat pump water heater superior in energy efficiency under a CO2 refrigerant. <P>SOLUTION: This heat pump water heater can miniaturize the compressor, and can secure high reliability in a supercritical state, by adopting the compressor mounted with a concentrated winding motor wound with wire via an insulator which is a machined engineering plastic material such as PPS and LCP for an insulating material of a compressor motor in the supercritical state under the CO2 refrigerant, by selecting the CO2 refrigerant as a refrigerant of the heat pump water heater. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
