PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine which can carries out the games using a prize winning device with a plurality of starter regions free from the effect of the players' skill. SOLUTION: The game balls going into the variable prize winning device are guided onto a game ball rolling groove 101 of a rotary member 100 with a first and second starter winning slots 15 and 16 and the first starter slot door 15a which is actuated with a solenoid to forbid the game balls from going into the first starter prize slot 15 is actuated when the shift is made to the variable probability state so that the first starter prize winning slot 15 is closed to heighten the rate of winning the second starter prize winning slot 16 while the probability is made higher when the game balls are detected with a starter slot switch 63 than that when the game balls are detected with the first starter slot switch 62. This prevents the playing of the game only aimed at one starter prize winning slot while making the players expect for the winning of any of the prize winning slots with the game balls.
