PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small and reliable camera system, in which breakdowns or malfunctions due to electrostatic discharge are prevented, and the camera body and an imaging lens unit constituting the camera system. SOLUTION: The camera system is equipped with the camera body 150, having electrical contact points on a main body side 170 for communicating with the imaging lens unit 110 and a mount barrier 152 covering the aperture of a mount part 151 and connected to the ground of the camera body 150, and the imaging lens unit 110 having a push part 120 connected to the ground of the imaging lens unit 110 and connecting the grounds of the imaging lens unit 110 and the camera body 150, by abutting against the mount barrier 152 when the imaging lens unit 110 is attached, and pushes the mount barrier 152 against the inner part of the recessed part of the mount part 151, and electrical contact points on the imaging lens unit side 121 electrically connected with the electrical contact points on the body side 170, after the pressing part 120 starts pressing the mount barrier 152.
